Second flush
The second flush of tea plucking season generally takes place from early summer through the monsoon season, starting in early April and continuing until August 1. During this time, the tea leaves mature and absorb the maximum amount of rainwater, which gives them a unique flavour profile.
Second-flush tea leaves are known for their strong and fruity flavour notes.
